The Girvan care team are committed to the ongoing development of best practice in dementia care. Through sharing ideas and experiences with healthcare colleagues and continuous learning we continually improve the care we give to our dementia residents.

Girvan’s dedicated facilities are self-contained, safe and protected with many home comforts. They are designed to reinforce our residents’ familiarity with their surroundings by, for example, pictorial signage, individualized bedroom door designs and photographic memorabilia. Our gardens are safe for residents to enjoy freely, with plants and flowers specially selected for their memory evoking colours and fragrances.
